Blake Lively’s Sister Robyn Lively Shares Heartfelt Message After Justin Baldoni Lawsuit Dismissal: "So Proud of You"

Blake Lively's Sister Robyn Lively Expresses Heartfelt Support After Legal Victory

Robyn Lively is standing by her sister Blake Lively with unwavering pride and affection. On Tuesday, June 10, Blake, 37, shared a series of touching Instagram Stories originally posted by Robyn, 53, following a significant legal win for Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

The social media tribute came after a judge in New York dismissed multiple lawsuits filed by It Ends With Us actor and director Justin Baldoni. The dismissed suits included a $400 million countersuit against Blake, Ryan, and their publicist, and a separate $250 million defamation case against The New York Times.

Although Robyn didn’t mention the legal battle directly, her posts spoke volumes. She shared a nostalgic photo of the sisters as children, captioned, “I held you then…,” followed by a recent snapshot labeled, “…now.” The final image showed the pair in front of the Eiffel Tower, accompanied by the words, “…and always,” with a red heart emoji. Robyn added an emotional message:

“No one knows you quite like I do, and man, am I ever proud of you. I love you, sister.”

Blake reposted all three Stories, adding her own sentiment with Donna Lewis’ “I Love You Always Forever” playing in the background. Over the third photo, she wrote:
“I love you more. Always. Forever. Near or far. Closer together,” referencing the song’s lyrics. She also included a heart graphic with the message, “I love you so, so hard, like the most ever.”

The heartfelt exchange came shortly after U.S. District Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed Baldoni’s lawsuits, which accused the couple of defamation and extortion. While the ruling was a major win for Blake and Ryan, the judge did allow Baldoni’s legal team the option to amend certain claims, including breach of implied contract and tortious interference, by June 23.

Blake’s attorneys, Mike Gottlieb and Esra Hudson, called the decision a “total victory and a complete vindication” in a statement to PEOPLE. However, Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, expressed dissatisfaction with the ruling during an appearance on TMZ Live, calling it “not fair” and “not right.”

Robyn Lively had already shown public support for her younger sister during an interview with PEOPLE in May, shortly after Blake alluded to the legal drama in her TIME100 Gala speech.
“I’m very proud. Just so you know, very proud,” Robyn said at the time, with her husband, actor Bart Johnson, adding, “We’re super proud… That’s a tough thing to navigate.”

The legal case is not entirely over. A trial — where both Blake and Baldoni are expected to testify — is currently set for March 2026.
