A little stray appeared to cozy up by the fire, and she won't be leaving in the morning.

Harry and his wife were on a road trip when they came across a tiny  puppy all alone. With no one else in sight, they approached her, and the little  puppy was incredibly friendly, enjoying lots of pets from the couple. Harry assumed that the pup belonged to someone since she was so sociable, but they soon discovered that she was a stray.

The couple made camp for the night, and the puppy disappeared, but when Harry made a fire to keep warm, the pup returned, cold and desperate for companionship. The puppy, whom they named Sandy due to her sandy-colored coat, fell asleep on Harry’s lap for hours, and the couple knew they couldn’t leave her behind.

Despite their constant travels, the couple made a deal that if Sandy was still outside their van when they rolled down the window, they would keep her. When the time came, Sandy was still there, and the couple welcomed her into their lives.
